No, a shampoo bar is not the same as a bar of soap. Shampoo bars are solid versions of liquid shampoo. They are formulated to work in the same way as liquid shampoo except you don’t squeeze them into your hand (and the kids can’t pour them everywhere!). They contain lots of gentle, natural active ingredients which create a bubbly lather and leave kids’ hair beautifully clean, soft and manageable. 

Our shampoo bars are super easy to use:

1. Get your hair and the bar lovely and wet
2. Rub the bar directly on your hair to activate 
3. Massage your head to generate a lovely bubbly lather (SO YOU’RE A BUBBLEHEAD!)
4. Then simply rinse. 

Instructions are also cleverly included on the inside cover of our lovely boxes!

The short answer: they last ages! More specifically, we say that each bar will last at least as long as two 350ml bottles of liquid shampoo. Our bars are jam-packed full of natural active ingredients which means you only need to use a little bit each time to get a really good lather. Plus there’s no risk of the kids squirting them everywhere or pouring them down the drain!

After use, the bars can just be left on a dish or on the side of the bath to air dry. It’s good to let them dry out between uses as it helps them to last even longer. If you’re travelling, pop them into a tin or soap box and you’re good to go! 

Our shampoo bars are suitable for use from birth (or whenever they have hair!). For very young babies we recommend our unfragranced shampoo bar as it is completely fragrance and colour-free. 

Of course! Lots of grown up love our shampoo bars and the natural gentle ingredients are great for all hair types.

No our shampoo bars are sulphate-free, making them particularly great for curly hair.

Because everyone’s skin is unique we recommend seeking medical advice before treating any specific skin conditions.

We formulate our products for babies and children so it’s important to us that we make them as gentle and natural as possible. Our bars don’t contain any sulphates or irritating colours and fragrances.

If you are concerned about very sensitive skin, you could try our unfragranced shampoo bar which is completely fragrance and colour-free.

Yes, all of our products are vegan.

Our products are cruelty-free and never tested on animals. We test them on our own children!

We get it. We’ve been there. So we set out to design shampoo bars that children would love to use. 

We have found that little ones find shampoo bars to be a real novelty at bath time which is why we have made sure our bars are colourful and smell great! They are also specifically shaped to fit into little hands to allow young children the chance to try them on themselves – great for encouraging body independence without the worry of shampoo being squirted everywhere or being poured down the drain. Our bars are packed full of gentle, natural active ingredients so they won’t irritate young skin and they won’t sting their eyes.

Because the last thing you need at the end of a long day is a bath-time battle!

Yes, our shampoo bars are great for travel and you can pack them in airline hand luggage as they don’t come under the 100ml limit for liquids. Plus you won’t have to worry about them leaking all over your suitcase! 

They are also easy to pack for taking the kids to the swimming pool closer to home!
